"The last day of monkeydom"

Today ( as the topic suggests ) was our last day with the monkeys. Bittersweet... What tomorrow brings, we still don't know...

One of the Gray langurs had something on her cheek today, so we ( or vet's assistant and the monkey keeper to be exact ) looked into it... We never got to know what it was, but judging on their reactions, it was nothing serious.

We finally saw the Binturong babies up close and got some good pictures too ;)
Ain't they just totally adorable?!!

For the first time since we got here, the weather was cloudy and rainy all day and ( of course ) we forgot our raincoats back home in Finland... Gladly they had some spare ones for us :) Neither of us even thought of the possibility that it might rain here on some days...




In honor of our last day with the monkeys, we decided to have some cotton-candy after work ( it was yummy and now our mouths are all blue and there's cotton-candy everywhere ). Ever since we spotted the cotton-candy stand, we'd look at the clock every few minutes thinking "cotton-candy, cotton-candy, cotton-candy..."


We also got some better pictures of bats today, but we'll show you later...
